A high proportion of patients are not been adequately derived to our memory unit. Semantic variant-PPA is the dementia subtype most commonly misdiagnosed by physicians. Physicians did not correctly address the therapeutic strategies for dementia. Training programs based on diagnosis and treatment of dementia should be carried out.
