This study is a proof that oral route infection of Pasteurella multocida type B:2 immunogen lipopolysaccharide can be used to stimulate host cell responses where oral vaccine through feed could be developed in the near future.
The clinico-pathology, hematology and biochemistry results were obtained comparing buffaloes inoculated with lipopolysaccharide via intravenous and oral route of infections and were documented for the first time.
All buffaloes inoculated with P. multocida type B:2 immunogen lipopolysaccharide were able to survive throughout the 21 days experiment with mild clinical responses, gross and histopathology lesions.
