CNFs-PEI was synthesized as both a reinforcing filler and a curing agent for epoxy. CNFs-PEI increased the crosslinking density and strengthened the interface. The mechanical properties of the nanocomposites were greatly improved. Incorporation of CNFs-PEI remarkably reduced the CTE of the epoxy nanocomposites. The thermal conductivity of the nanocomposites was observed to increase.
