Prestressed concrete sleepers with GGBFS and steel fibers were constructed. Flexural performance at the rail seat and center sections were investigated. The influence of both static and fatigue loading conditions were compared. Steel fibers were effective in substituting for stirrups and in reducing the number of strands.
