Two-phase flow behavior in an Electrical Submersible Pump with split-vane impeller was studied. Flow characterization was done by obtaining electrical resistance and pressure distribution. Head Ratio parameter demonstrated a better performance in the second stage than the first stage. The third stage head ratio was minimally effected by rotating speed and inlet pressure. This technique allows performance prediction of a multistage pumps upon minimal experimental data.
