The predictive quality of the pavement ME program for WMA pavement is similar to HMA pavement and is distress dependent. Climate (humidity) has important effect on pavement performance. The ME program can generally predict the field rut depth well for HMA and WMA pavement, but the values are over-predicted. The ME program cannot reasonably predict the thermal cracking and top-down cracking for HMA and WMA pavements.
