Pesticides are massively used in developing countries and threat people’s health. Theoretical models predict that land ownership affects the use of pesticides. This issue is studied on a sample of Vietnamese farmers. The analysis shows that the quantities used grow with the share of land owned. Government programs need strengthening to decrease the use of pesticides.
