New BNPs decahedral TiO2 photocatalysts were synthesized via γ radiolysis and photodeposition method.
Parameters and mechanism for photocatalytic degradation of phenol-1-13C have been investigated in detail.
The modification with Pt and Ag nanoparticles induced an increase in photocatalytic activity of phenol degradation.
The main by-products detected in phenol oxidation were catechol, hydroquinone, malonic, fumaric and maleic acid.
