Propose to apply grinding treatment in fatigue maintenance of steel bridge Effects were proved by geometrical change, microstructure, fatigue tests and FEM. Advantage of geometrical shape and disadvantage of thickness decrease were compared. Reasonable sizes of grinding gouge were suggested.
