Claudin-5, -7, and -18 suppress proliferation mediated by inhibition of phosphorylation of Akt in human lung squamous cell carcinoma
文摘
Claudin-3-5, 7, and 18 are decreased in human lung squamous carcinoma. Claudin-5, 7, and 18 individually and additively inhibit proliferation of squamous carcinoma cells. Claudin-5, 7, and 18 inhibit phosphorylation of Akt. Claudin-5, 7, and 18 bind to Akt and decrease its nuclear localization. Loss of claudin-5, 7, and 18 expression may induce abnormal proliferation in lung squamous carcinoma cells.
