A point-of-use microfluidic immunoassay for quantification of ochratoxin A was developed and optimized.
The PDMS microfluidic chips were modularly coupled with an integrated optoelectronic detection system.
Detection times of less than 5 min and sensitivities down to 0.5 ng/mL were obtained.
The chips could be effectively regenerated at least 8 times.
Ochratoxin A was measured in red wine extracts at the regulatory limits.
