The polyfluorene-based 蟺-conjugated liquid-crystal (LC) physical gel formed in twisted nematic (TN) LC system for the first time.

With the utility of alignment layers, the F8BT molecules can be aligned and formed anisotropic self-assembled supramolecular structures.

The supramoleuclar structure makes the TN LC system exhibit excellent properties of driving voltage reduction and contrast ratio enhancement.

The 蟺-conjugated structure with high 蟺-electron delocalization degree can efficiently drive LC molecules in low operating voltages.
