Linking morphometric and genetic divergence with host use in the tick complex, Ornithodoros capensis sensu lato

Strong genetic differences were found among tick populations, even at local scales. Tick shape and size variation were closely linked to genetic structure. Morphometrical tools were able to discriminate the different species. Tick diversity is more strongly shaped by host use than geography.
