In Paris 7th district, a memorial plate has recently been installed at 54, rue de Varennes where Pierre Janet lived between 1907 and 1947, even during the German occupation, and where he welcomed visitors from all over the world. This ceremony, where the French Société Médico-Psychologique was present, is a good occasion to remember his participation to this association, as a physician and philosopher and the fact that he was elected as chairman for a year in 1929. Several sessions of our society have already been devoted to studying Pierre Janet's works and the reviews may be found in the Annals.
