We model Saturn’s stratospheric composition and temperature as a function of latitude and season.

We couple photochemical model and radiative seasonal model.

Cassini’s observations of the equator-to-pole thermal gradient are better reproduced around 1 mbar.

Accounting for such coupling predicts an earlier temperature peak in the higher-stratosphere.

Saturn’s thermal structure seems to depart from pure radiative equilibrium in the higher stratosphere.
