A distance constrained synaptic plasticity model of neuronal network is proposed. Model simulates plasticity and distance constraint to reproduce controllability. Long-range synaptic connections are critical to the control of neuronal network. C. elegans neuronal network is wired for optimal long-range synaptic connections The model successfully captures specific driver neurons with high accuracy.
