The layer geometries for AM are analyzed to minimize the change in deposition modality. Overhanging points are identified and k-th nearest point algorithm is implemented to construct the support structure. Continuity and connectivity algorithms are implemented for free-form shaped model and support structure. A generic digital file format named Part Attributable Motion (PAM) is proposed to store the outcome from the methodology. The build time is evaluated and the results are compared with the available 3d printing software.
