The holograms with only one line are designed to control SPP wave propagation through surface electromagnetic wave holography (SWH) method. The method has two merits:●First, the designed structure is simpler, just consisting of one line. This is favorable to fabricate the designed structure.●Second, the efficiency is higher than before hologram. In our study, the coupling efficiency is about 55%, higher than that of before holograms (about 19%).
