Gd3+ and Co2+ co-doped ZnO nanoparticles were synthesized by hydrothermal method.
Doped nanoparticles consist defects like oxygen vacancy (Vo) and Zinc interstitial (Zni).
Defects were found to modulate optical magnetic and dielectric properties of samples.
RTFM and giant coercivities are the vacancy mediated properties of the samples.
Negative exchange bias confirms formation of AFM/FM bilayers below Neel temperature.
