Polyurethane foam (PUF) disk passive samplers derived polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) concentrations in the ambient air of Bursa-Turkey: Spatial and temporal variations and health risk assessment
Spatial and temporal variations of PCBs were monitored in ambient air of Bursa-Turkey using PUF disk passive samplers. A clear rural-agricultural-semi-urban-urban-industrial PCBs concentration gradient was observed. Principal component analysis (PCA) related possible sources and observed homologue group profiles. Calculated inhalation risk levels of PCBs at sampling sites did not pose serious adverse health effects.
