Formation of Copper ion incorporated microporous chitosan-polyethylene glycol films. Mechanically stable films are developed without compromising moisture permeability. Degradation studies revealed stability of films against lysozyme and H2O2. Superiority antibacterial activity and inhibition of biofilm formation. Sustained drug release with excellent keratinocyte cell response.
