This method tests larger samples of popcorn, 1 kg, in ∼2 min. This method detects medium and large larvae, ∼80% of the time. This method had very low level of false detects. This paper details mechanical modifications required to feed popcorn. This research shows that mechanical wear did not decrease detection sensitivity.
