Comparison between the single- (SP) and dual-porosity (DP) models is carried out. Numerical study is carried out in the context of saline-infused RFA. SP model is inadequate for describing the flow of saline into the liver tissue. Results from DP model agree with experimental study reported in the literature. Future simulations of saline-infused RFA should be carried out with the DP model.
