Probit 9 mortality resulted from sub-zero temperatures for 16–20 d. Probit 9 mortality resulted from 19 d at 1.05 °C. These regimes are recommended for conversion into postharvest treatment protocols. These treatments will be cheaper, safer and easier to apply than current protocols.
