Contact angle, zeta potential, and floatability of monazite have been measured. Hematite and quartz were employed as gangue minerals. Sodium oleate, hydroxamic acid, and sodium dodecyl sulphate were used as collectors. Zeta potential and contact angle of the minerals changed with collector dosage. Floatabilities of the minerals were pH dependent.
