Sensitivity of potentiometric sensors based on Nafion®-type membranes and effect of the membranes mechanical, thermal, and hydrothermal treatments on the on their properties
Membrane treatment effect on the sensitivity of potentiometric sensors was shown. Influence of mechanical, thermal and hydrothermal treatment on membrane properties was investigated. Thermal treatment at RH<100% results in selectivity improvement. Decrease in the membrane water uptake increases the accuracy of organic ampholyte concentration determination.
