文摘
The hunter-gatherer pottery appears in the E Baltic during the 6th millennium BC. Organic residue analysis on early pottery in this region was conducted. Pottery was mainly used for processing oils and fats from aquatic organisms. Pottery was introduced with other hunter-gatherer technologies associated with fishing. These entwined adaptations contributed to increased sedentism and population growth.
