Study on the ratio of pore-pressure/stress changes during fluid injection and its implications for CO2 geologic storage

We investigate evolution of pore pressure-stress coupled ratio when fluid is injected. Factors like material property, boundary condition and hydraulic barrier are varied. Biot's coefficient and Poisson's ratio determine asymptotic values of the coupling. Boltzmann variable affects the spatio-temporal evolution of the coupled ratio. We suggest methods when evaluating stress paths to determine a injection pressure limit.
