Implementation and program evaluation of trauma-informed care training across state child advocacy centers: An exploratory study

Participants’ previous training on Trauma Informed Care (TIC) did not lead to higher TIC pre test scores. TIC training was generally effective in increasing knowledge regardless of participants’ demographic background. The effectiveness of the training was maintained after 12 months in a smaller sample. The majority of participants reported that the training was helpful and of adequate length.
