β-sitostanol esters have been enzymatically synthesized at 28 °C. 90% β-sitostanyl esters were synthesized by direct esterification with OPEr in 3 h. Up to 80 mM β-sitostanol was solventless-transesterified (>90%) with OPEr in 2 h.
