Propose an approach for estimating the failure probability of riser collision by considering the wake interference. Estimate the cumulative distribution function (cdf) of the extreme minimum distance between two risers based on a set of time domain analyses. Perform a reliability analysis of the riser collision when the uncertainties of the environmental loads and riser system are taken into account.
