Intensification of liquid-liquid mass transfer in micromixer assisted by ultrasound irradiation and Fe3O4 nanoparticles

The ultrasound was applied to enhance liquid–liquid mass ‎transfer in micromixer.‎ Water (Cu) +D2EHPA+ kerosene system‎ used for mass transfer analysis. Flow patterns at various flow rates, with and without the nanoparticles, were ‎studied.‎ That KLa and E were enhanced with increase in the ultrasound intensity. Using ultrasound and nanoparticles does not have a great impact on pressure drop.
