The composite of hydrogen storage alloys and graphene nanoplatelets was prepared. The fabrication strategy of the composites is facile and effective. The hybrid electrode shows enhanced high-rate dischargeability properties. The mechanism behind superior high-rate dischargeability performance was revealed.
