A passive isolator with the feature of high-static-low-dynamic stiffness is developed.

A magnetic negative stiffness spring is employed to lower the resonant frequency.

The damping property is improved considerably due to the usage of magnetic negative stiffness spring.

Prototype design and experimental results demonstrate the theoretical analysis.
