This paper offers a simple low-cost passive non-contact conformal sensor composed of a pair of loops for detection of the interface between different liquids. The sensor is equivalent to a resonant transmission line and the liquid in proximity changes its capacitance and resonant frequency. This sensor is used for real-time detection of interface between water-oil and oil-ethanol by resonance change of 61 MHz and 20 MHz, respectively.
