Structural, thermal, and optical absorption studies of Er3 +, Tm3 +, and Pr3 +-doped borotellurite glasses

Borotellurite glasses doped with Er, Tm, and Pr ions were synthesized. Various functional groups were confirmed by FTIR, and Raman spectroscopy. All synthesized glasses show good thermal stability. Direct and indirect optical bandgaps were evaluated from absorption spectrum. These glasses could be promising for their applications in fiber Raman amplifiers.
