Four starch derivatives bearing 1,2,3-triazole were synthesized via CuAAC. Four starch derivatives bearing 1,2,3-triazolium were also obtained. Starch derivatives bearing 1,2,3-triazolium showed superduper antifungal activity. Alkyl chain length was an important determinant of antifungal activity.
