Two-dimensional heterojunction photocatalysts constructed by graphite-like C3N4 and Bi2WO6 nanosheets: Enhanced photocatalytic activities for water purification
g-C3N4/Bi2WO6 heterojunction photocatalysts have been successfully synthesized. The photocatalytic activity of optimum photocatalyst was much higher than pure g-C3N4 and Bi2WO6. The reasons of enhanced photocatalytic activities of photocatalysts has been proposed. The possible mechanism for the photo-induced charge transfer route of photocatalysts has been illustrated.
