Ruthenium carbonyl complex of a redox non-innocent ONS donor azophenol ligand: Electrochemistry, photophysical property, electronic structure and catalytic activity towards oxidation of alcohols
A ruthenium carbonyl complex of a redox non-innocent thioether-containing azo-phenol ligand has been synthesized and characterized. Cyclic voltammetric study has been used to interpret the redox properties. Absorption and emission properties have been studied. Catalytic oxidation of alcohols has been studied in presence of NMO. DFT calculations have been used to interpret the electronic structure.
