The structure and magnetic properties of a new copper dimer with di-2-pyridyl ketone are presented. No long distance magnetic interactions are observed for the copper complex. For complex 2 a disorder of the oxime group is observed. The structure of a previously reported complex similar to 2 shows a similar disorder upon re-examination.
