We study the semigroup decay of the linearized Boltzmann equation in general Banach spaces including $L_x^{\infty }{L}_{\xi ,\beta }^{\infty }$ (β≥0$\beta \ge 0$) and $L_x^p{L}_{\xi }^q$ (1≤p≤∞$1\le p\le \infty$, 1<q<∞$1<q<\infty$) in a torus. Our results reveal that the size of the domain affects the decay rate of the solution.
