Nitrogen and organic carbon removal capability of A. faecalis NR were optimized. Novel aerobic bioreactor inoculated with A. faecalis NR was successfully applied. Fate of nitrogen and organic carbon in the bioreactor was discussed. The bioreactor presents possibility to develop innovative treatment technologies.
