Structure-activity of cinnamaldehyde and eugenol derivatives against fungus. Conjugated double bond appears to affect fungicidal potency. The length of CH chain outside the ring appears to affect fungicidal potency. The presence of lipophilicity appears to affect the toxicity of phenylpropenes. Cinnamaldehyde and eugenol derivatives exhibited high fungicidal activity.
