A low temperature solvent annealing of PbI2 without any additives was developed.

Pinhole-free and uniform MAPbI3 thin films with microscale grain sizes was obtained.

PCE increased to 12.12% by 42.7%, compared with that of the control device.

Highly reproducible and hysteresis-less inverted planar PVSCs demonstrated.
