Sr2.13Ba0.8SiO5:0.07Eu2+ phosphor with excellent properties was prepared by MASM. The emitting spectrum is a broad band with a long emitting peak at 577 nm. The pure phase phosphor exhibits a homogeneous distribution of 80–100 nm. The color temperature and color coordinates are 2658 K and (x = 0.3976, y = 0.2955).
