A multi-wavelength Mie–Raman lidar for ground-based network observation was developed. Long-term ground-based network observation with Mie-Raman lidars was conducted in East Asia. Seasonal variation of derived aerosol optical properties for each observation site were examined. An algorithm to retrieve vertical profiles of several aerosol components was developed.
