We studied graphomotor organization during grossly normal clock drawing performance.
Organized individuals anchored the 12, 3, 6, and/or 9 during their clock drawing.
Anchorers had better executive functioning, learning and memory than non-anchorers.
Anchorers had higher efficiency of a local brain network regulating motor acts.
Anchorers had more heteromodal integration of the ventral visual processing stream.
