Environmental, social, and economic sustainability indicators of industrial buildings are investigated. A MCDM framework is developed for the optimal selection of sustainable industrial buildings. The framework incorporates grey theory and utility function in ELECTRE to consider uncertainty and risk attitude. The OWA operator is utilized for final ranking by aggregation of the decision makers' preferences. The framework's performance is demonstrated by application of five real petrochemical projects in Iran.
