We assess the SST-CCM turbulence model for simulating swirling reacting unsteady flow in a SFRJ.

The impact of the rotation-curvature correction on predicting reacting swirling unsteady flow is demonstrated.

An in-house code to simulate the unsteady swirling reacting flows in a SFRJ is developed.

Experiment on solid-fuel ramjet engine (SFRJ) is carried out to validate the numerical model.
