Initial size (dry weight) and biomarkers of hatchlings are related to broodstock origin. High variability in growth and biomarkers are found to be related to geographical origin. SGR of 15 day old paralarvae appear to be positively influenced by marine phospholipids used as a new enrichment of Artemia. Antioxidant defences against the oxidative damage are boosted in paralarvae fed with LC60. Partial correlations found among biomarkers are affected by the diet supplied to paralarvae.
